SDG 41 The Return of Jesus and Truth on the Apostasy

Jude verses 14 and 15

One sign of Christ’s 2nd Coming is what many call apostasy or as Paul said in 1Tim 4:1 a “depature from the faith”.

So many have turned away from 'the faith' and are subverting the Word of God but this is nothing new and every believer must be alert, able to recognize apostasy for what it truly is.

The Return of Jesus Christ is mentioned clearly and plainly in over 380 verses of the Bible!  That's nearly once in every 25 verses!

The early church's focus and preoccupation was on the return of The LORD Jesus Christ!

Now apostasy or more properly stated a departure from the faith is one of the key signs of the end times.

See 1 Timothy 4:1  Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;

Now many also WRONLY cite 2 Thessalonians 2:3  Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

The two Greek words that makeup the word apostasy have been wrongly translated to mean “falling away” hence this verse from 2 Thessalonians has been wrongly understood to be the same as what Paul mentioned in 1 Tim 4:1 but its not!

It is not talking about a falling away from the faith, it is talking about the rapture!!!
