2 Timothy Chapter 3
You know I just love the Bible.
And I was thinking about how my life has changed since I embraced the Bible for what it truly is, The Inspired Word of God!
It’s convicted me of my sin and has compelled me to live a godly life in Jesus Christ practicing righteousness.
So ask yourself this question: Are you living a godly life in Jesus Christ?
The Bible says, “Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution” (2 Timothy 3:12).
So a good test is whether you getting any persecution.
If you're not getting any persecution then you better do as Paul told the Corinthians in 2 Cor 13:5
Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Do you not realize that Christ Jesus is in you--unless, of course, you fail the test?
So the truth is if you are an out and out Bible believing Christian in this world, there is no way you're going to come out unscathed. Amen?
And that's what God's Word says.
Especially in these very last days, because the Bible says in 2 Timothy 3:13 , “But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived”.
Now that verse has become extremely relevant in this day and age.
Pastor, theologian and author Dr. J. Sidlow Baxter said,
“The biggest division between Christians is no longer between one denomination and another, but between those who accept the Bible as the inspired Word of God and those who don't.”
Did you get that???
The battle today is over The Word of God!
So from the focus scripture listed above let’s discover three great truths about the Bible before I tell you three reasons I KNOW the Bible to be the inspired, inerrant Word of God.
