Ephesians 5:18
Today we'll focus on a VITAL Biblical Truth and PLEASE don't look at this Truth as old hat, I'm asking you to approach this well known topic that's almost become a cliche from a whole new perspective. We will look at what it means to be filled with The Holy Spirit or as Paul said walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
You know as true believers not only can we walk in the Spirit and not in the flesh but we OUGHT to otherwise all that we have and all that we do while here on Terra Firma will be nothing but a colossal waste.
Stay tuned as we look into this rather radical concept of God inhabiting our humanity and displaying His Deity through us and btw folks that's exactly what walking in the Sprit truly means.
This is why I said not to view this message as old hat, because when we walk in the spirit we are LITERALLY allowing God to inhabit our humanity and display His deity through us! What really matters is what God does in us and through us, NOT what we do for Him. The Bible says, “And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit” (Ephesians 5:18).
