First we must receive the grace of God through Jesus Christ, in other words we must be saved.
Do you delight in His law and want to serve Him with all your heart?
If we're walking and talking with Him daily, then we have an intimate knowledge of God only the redeemed have.
Second, we must recognize the goal of God and that is to purify us and make us like His Son Jeusus. This process has 4 steps which at times may be painful: extraction, crushing, melting and purifying.
And then finally we can rest in the goodness of God.
We are the gold and silver God seeks to refine. In the heat of His refining pot, scum rises to the top, and at times we may wonder if He loves us at all, but rest assured He does!
