SDG 387 Who is Jesus?

John 1:1-4 

We've all seen many wrong answers to that question but the truth is that there’s only one right answer and it’s found right here in The Bible.

The Bible touches upon the sacred mystery and sovereign majesty of the Holy Trinity.

Now we cannot truly know who Jesus is UNTIL we realize our understanding of the Holy Trinity is not based upon logic but upon revelation by the Holy Spirit.

So from our eternal perspective this is the most important question we will every answer:  Because if you answer it wrong, you could end up in hell. 

So there's only one right answer from God concerning the identity of Jesus but many, many wrong ones from the devil!

Some say that Jesus was a great man, but that’s stinkin’ thinkin’ because it compares Jesus to other men and He's more than a mere man!

Writer and historian H.G. Wells listed Jesus as one of the 10 greatest men of all time.

Others say well Jesus was a great moral teacher, He came to teach.

Sure Jesus taught, but He did so much more than that.

So some say He is a good man others a good teacher, while others say He was a messenger or prophet sent from God.

The truth is: Jesus was not a teacher come from God; He was God come to teach!

The  New Agers say He is a mystic medium.  The "Christ Spirit", a channel through which we can reach our inner world and the netherworld and the other world.

But none of them about the Jesus of the Bible!  There are even demon spirits that have taken His name.
