SDG 423 Understanding The History of the Bible part 10

1 Corinthians 4:1-2  Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God. 2 Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.

Last week we learned how the Vatican used the Jesuits in a very subversive manner to appeal to the pride of the leaders and scholars of the Reformation. Now remember that by the 19th century the various Protestant denominations had become well established and COMFORTABLE. This was an opening for the Jesuits to subtly yet effectively appeal to their intellect and stir up their pride.

St Paul warned us about this in Colossians 2:18 KJV Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,
