SDG 442 What Does The Bible Say About Bodily Healing? Part 1

James 5:10

As you all ought to know by now, our dear friend Becky Snyder, the founder of our Sozos ministry, suddenly became ill with an extremely rare form of cancer and then to all of our shock went home to be with The LORD last month all in about one month.

Yet the Bible says in

James 5:10-11 KJV

[10] Take, my brethren, the prophets, who have spoken in the name of The LORD  for an example of suffering affliction, and of patience. [11] Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of The LORD; that The LORD is very pitiful, and of tender mercy.

And then in James 5:13-15 KJV

[13] Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms. [14] Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of The LORD  [15] And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and The LORD shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.

 So we are all in shock and asking why???  Why did The LORD allow this cancer in a 61 year young servant of His, why after the elders anointed her with oil and prayed, WHY???

All of us at Sozos believe that The LORD still moves as He did in the Book of Acts and heals divinely so why???  Why did Becky go home to be with Jesus so soon!?!?

Why did Becky suddenly get ill with this extremely rare form of cancer, when there’s only 30 documented cases of this form of cancer in the world, and why did she die???
