Robb is a hockey play-by-play announcer turned business and marketing expert.

Robb recently took on the role of Director of Business Operations with the Nanaimo Clippers in the BCHL. In this role, he oversees day-to-day operations for the Clippers which include corporate partnerships, marketing, communications, game production, community relations and business operations.

Robb holds a Business of Hockey MBA from Athabasca University. His previous position was with the Medicine Hat Tigers of the Western Hockey League. Mr. Hunter was principally involved with all aspects of the sales cycle to generate new corporate partners for the WHL team. As part of his MBA work, he was also involved with the Red Deer Rebels WHL club, creating a Franchise Development Plan in 2019.
Previous to his tenure with the WHL, Robb was the Director Business Operations for the Bonnyville Junior A Pontiacs of the AJHL from 2017 to 2019.

He managed all operating budgets, lead all the team marketing and sponsorship initiatives, and was heavily involved in game-day activities for the Pontiacs.

Robb also was the co-chair for the World Junior A Challenge in 2016 and 2018. He oversaw the committees and volunteers as well as spearheaded the strategic planning and bid application while also assisting in fundraising initiatives. Dean McIntosh of Hockey Canada remarked; “Through his exceptional leadership, Robb was instrumental in bringing the WJAC to his community. These abilities shone as he recruited and managed a diverse Host Organization Committee. Robb provided a clear vision, direction, and innovative solutions to successfully execute the event.”

Previous to his hockey endeavours, Robb was the News and Sports Director for Kool 101.3 FM for eight years and also worked as the Director of Marketing for 5 Star Restaurant Group, both out of Bonnyville, Alberta.
