Welcome to Episode 101 of Building My Legacy.

In this podcast we talk with serial entrepreneur Taylor Adams who has a passion for business, education and helping others achieve their goals. Taylor left a career in higher education to develop a real estate investment company, which eventually led her to create the Women’s Investment Network (WIN). She tells us how she got started in real estate investment and how WIN has become a community that focuses on entrepreneurship and provides the support and education to help women entrepreneurs and small business owners succeed.

As a new mother, Taylor also provides a unique perspective for women who are considering investments, starting their own company and also giving back to the community. Well on her way to creating her legacy, Taylor is an excellent example of someone who wasn’t afraid to follow her passions and then build a community that supports others who want to do the same.

So if you want to know:

– About the unique challenges for women who want to get into investments
– How the “impostor syndrome” can hold you back from doing what you can and should be doing
– Why being “overly prepared” prevents many women from taking action
– Why access to capital doesn’t have to be an impediment to investing
– The value of a community, a coach, a mentor — and how they can save you money down the road

About Taylor Adams

Taylor Adams always knew she wanted to be her own boss. After spending five years in higher education, launching programming and new campus operation hubs across North America, she left her nine-to-five job and, with her husband, launched multiple start-up companies. She found her niche in real estate when, in 2016, they founded JT Adams Properties. Since then, Taylor has focused her attention on educating others on how they can launch their own successful businesses, gain additional streams of income, and create the life they’ve always wanted through
