Veteran coach, Tiffany Lockett, was the former Head Coach at Trinity Washington University after serving as an Assistant Coach at Thomas College in Waterville, Maine. There, she helped guide the Terriers to their best record in 7 seasons.

Before spending the 2017-18 season in Maine, Lockett, who has lived in the DC metropolitan area for almost 20 years, was the Head Coach at Forest Park High School (Woodbridge, VA) from 2014-2016. She also served as the Assistant Track & Field Coach (Throws) for Forest Park taking 4 throwers to the Virginia Regional and State Championships in both shot put and discus. She left Forest Park in 2016 to set up a competitive junior national and sub-regional basketball program in St. Lucia (Eastern Caribbean) as a part of a partnership between the St. Lucia Ministry of Youth Development and Sports and the Peace Corps. Unfortunately, a sudden and unexpected illness prevented her from relocating internationally.

Prior to her time at Forest Park, Lockett was the Head Coach at South County High School in Lorton, VA. She took over the program in her 3rd season at the school and led the team to its first regional playoff appearance in recent history.

Before starting her coaching career, Lockett was a firefighter and emergency medical technician (EMT) for 6 years with the Prince William County Department of Fire and Rescue.

Lockett, a native of Wooster, Ohio, was an All-Ohio 1st Team basketball player her senior year of high school (1988-89). She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management from Baldwin-Wallace University (’93) where she was a member of the Varsity Basketball team and still holds the record for most free throws made in a single game. She was also a 4-year member of the Baldwin-Wallace Track & Field team (shot put, discus, and javelin).
