Michael became famous for joining his father’s small-town insurance agency in 2002 with ZERO insurance experience and TRIPLING the size (and profits) in his first 36 months.

He went on over the next 15 years to be widely known for his “No Bull”, Kick Butt, Take-no-Prisoners approach to business and as the celebrated “Merchant of Truth” of the insurance industry. His unconventional approach to hiring, training, and rewarding his staff of 23 employees was key to the agency’s amazing success.

Michael is an author, speaker and business coach to hundreds of insurance agents and entrepreneur worldwide.

Opinionated, ruthless, and wildly generous (he fundraises for children’s literacy, the homeless, local animal shelter, Rotary, the Food Bank, and multiple other local and national charities). A former professional hockey coach and owner, Michael won the 2010 CKIC Marketer of the Year Award out of 20,000 marketers worldwide.

He sold the agency in 2017 and now focuses on coaching entrepreneurs. Michael lives in the beautiful heritage town of Perth, Ontario Canada with his wife Krista and their daughter Emery.
