Welcome to Episode 191 of Building My Legacy.

In this podcast we talk again with Andrea d’Agostini who earlier provided us with a five-step process to grow your business. Today we’ll hear about Andrea’s wonderful, unique perspective on how to measure success.

Andrea deplores how social media looks at success in terms of “apparency” — as he defines it, the pictures on Instagram or the latest toys you have. In contrast, Andrea believes the most important measure of success is how many people you can help. Andrea encourages people to picture how you want to work with others, the family relationship you want to have and how you want to contribute to society. Then, the closer you get to that picture you’ve created for yourself, the more successful you will be. It’s a different way to look at business and at life and one that is sure to resonate with each of us as we build our legacy.

So if you want to know:

– Why the people we most admire are those who help — their staff, their family, their customers and society

– How to create your own definition of success

– Why you need to stop treating life as if it’s a general rehearsal for life

– How to realize you are the main character in your life — as well as the screenwriter and director
