Tonight the show will focus on interracial dating from the female perspective. We all know that there are more women on the planet than there are men. Hopefully, we have accepted the fact and have learned to operate successfully with this knowledge. There are some of us who will try and try again until we meet the African America Mandingo man. Others might be so scared from the negative choices that we have made so we decide that someone who does not look like us is the answer: Interracial dating.
It could be the answer for many of us. However there are some assessments that one should consider before delving into interracial dating. The major assessment is how have I contributed to my negative or unsuccessful dating/relationship experience? It could be that we wanted or subconsciously needed a father figure.
Whatever the reason is, it is important for us as powerful, thoughtful and purposeful women to take some ownership in not selecting the right mate. Sometimes there are not red flags or is love blinding to red flags?
During this show we will even consider the cultural issue of African and African American dating. When we discuss culture, we are really opening Pandora’s Box, since there are many factors to intercultural.
Join your host, Brenda BMichelle Tillman. My desire through this radio outreach is to build healthy and happy relationships in our community. (Truthfully, I am for the community of humans then race would not matter; yet, culture would. Culture determines the why and how we do what we do.) Professor D will join as also. Men are always welcome to provide the male preservative. We always need balance.
Join us tonight, Sundays at 9pm – 10pm 661-467-2407 on the Caribbean Radio show dot com.
