RHYTHM:   For example 0, 1, 2, 3, (after 0 then comes rhythmically 1 and 2, etc).  This method can be applied in addition and time tables, for example, lets take the nine time  tables: 9x8 =?  Here are three easy steps to get the answer.  First, focus on the number you are multiplying by 9, which is 8.   Second, apply the rhythm technique to the number before 8, that number is 7.  Third, subtract the 7 from the 9, which give us 2.  The answer then is 72. Graspmatix explain more of how and why.RESTORATION:  According to Dr. Yates, restoration means to bring again (reinstate) that which you have stored up for present and future use.  We are restoring the first 3 principles of GMX: perception, reasoning, and rhythm.  For example, 9+8+7+6+5+4+3+2+1=?  The rhythm principle is applied in this way: 9+1=10, 8+2=10, 7+3=10, 6+4=10, then +5 (add the last number 5 to the total 40) and the answer is 45. from 1 to 9, the lowest number is 1, the highest number is 9, and the middle (center) number is 5, from the center to the highest, and/or the center to the lowest, there are four spaces, which derives the number 4.  The middle number is 5.  The answer is 45.  In reasoning  from 1 to 9, the first numeral is identified as an odd number, and the second is an even number.  From 1 to 9, we have 4 even numbers and 5 odds numbers.  The answer is 45.
