I am so sick of all of this…Nine people were killed at Mother Emmanuel African Methodist Church in South Carolina; not unlike the bombing of on September 15, 1963 murder of four Black girls in the 16th Street Baptist Church bombing in Birmingham, Alabama.
"The 16th Street Baptist Church bombing was an act of white supremacist terrorism which occurred at the Black 16th Street Baptist Church in Birmingham, Alabama on Sunday, September 15, 1963, when four members of the Ku Klux Klan planted a minimum of 15 sticks of dynamite attached to a timing device beneath the front steps of the church killing the girls."
So what's so different 50 years later?
We have to come to the understanding that this country and those who enslaved us, did not meant for us to live, thrive and prosper. Now, people have signed a petition to have the confederate flag removed from the South Carolina Statehouse, but will this do any good or is it just a crumb in the mouth of a hungry man?
Tonight we will talk about the coded language of racism White Supremacy.
