During pledge week public television dedicated several hours of programming to the religious teachings of Dr. Wayne Dyer.  I was first introduced to the teachings of Dr. Dyer several years ago when a friend asked me to read his book, "Your Sacred Self." I wondered what would happen if PBS would use an evangelist like Billy Graham to raise money for public television.  I can just imagine the uproar from the community claiming that PBS is biased.  Dyer's evangelism, however, seems to go unchecked even by Christians but this is wrong.  Ephesians 5:11 explains that we are to "expose deeds of darkness" and this is exactly what these teachings are.  Therefore, I will attempt to "expose" them in this column.   As I watched Dyer on television I was overwhelmed by his gentleness and his genuine love balanced with his disgust for orthodox Christianity.  He is an excellent communicator, an easy-to-read writer and is down-to-earth in his demeanor and teachings.  He is someone you cannot dislike and within his teachings are some valuable lessons.  However, within his teachings is also intolerance for Biblical Christianity.  This does not mean that he does not quote the Bible or Jesus or even correctly apply certain biblical principles, because he does.  But again, as he freely quotes Buddha, Mohammad and many Hindu teachers he promotes the heretical and deadly teaching that all the major religions are basically the same as Christianity. The fact is that out of the Romans evil colonial invasion, of mass murders Christianity was invented see Isaiah 53. Every element of J.C. Church is anti-world history, thus it's uncivilized cursed white men's thoughts.
