Marriage and kids brought a much needed stability.
Years later having lived that life to its terminal end,
Separate roads taken as emotions failed to blend.
Now older and wiser, temptation on every corner,
As you check all aspects of a union slow to show ardor.
Not about wanton passion and fleshy joys anymore,
Maturity has taught patience and as you seek to be sure. 
Nights seem so lonely as you refrain from delight,
