During the late 40ies in Jamaica produced outstanding musicians on the horns, piano, bass and on vocals. On earlier episodes host Freddie Campbell showcased women in Jamaican music and today he will showcase a male vocalist that was well know as the "Velvet Voice". Julian Iffla will talk with Fred about the old days and many of the great musicians that he worked with during those years long before Ska and Reggae.
