In certified world history, [democracy] is superisingly, 100% uncivilized. Defined as system of government by the whole population or all the eligible members of a state, typically through elected representatives. Who invented it and when.
The term "democracy" first appeared in ancient Greek political and philosophical thought in the city-state of Athens during classical antiquity. The word comes from demos, "common people" and kratos, "strength". Led by Cleisthenes, Athenians established what is generally held as the first democracy in 508–507 BC.
The First Greeks. Two major groups of people, the Minoans and the Mycenaeans, were the first to populate the Greek peninsula. Not much is known about either of these groups because they did not leave an abundance of written or physical evidence to provide clues about their civilization.
