This Unique and versatile style earned Tim the pleasure of opening for his bumpin R&B flavor has paired him with openings for Earth, wind, and fire, Keith Seat, Cameo, Boyz II Men R&B artist and groups, previously sponsored by the Coors brewing company, Tim was given the opportunity to open the Cincinnati music festival one of the largest music festivals in the country for six years in a row with some of the biggest acts in R&B. Tim also performed at the St. Lucia Jazz festival opening for Wynton Marshalis.

Signed to Atlantic Records in 1996 his first major label release, right turn only featured the efforts of Will Downing,Brian Culbertson, Kevin Whalum and Bobby Lyle. it's featured single, "This is the lLife" hit 19 on airplay.
