TalkISrael with Anya Farber

TalkISrael is coming to you live from ISRAEL!  It has been a busy 2 weeks.  The time has flown by and even though I have been abe to see so much, I still have so much to come..... AVAL (but) today we are goingt to talk with Aryeh Meyers from Magen David Afom.  I visited the headquarters yesterday and was in awe.  Israel is know for being on the cuting edge of technology, but this was another level of WOW!  First and foremost Magen Davud Adom (MDA) operates without government funding.  But wait there is more....they have an army of volunteers.  Everyone is trained exactly the same whther a voluteer or employed.  They have a vehicle for every dituation.  MDA has about 2,500 employees and about 30,000 volunteers.  About 12,000 of the volunteers are teenagers They're operating on a wait time to peak to a dispatcher of LESS THAN ONE SECOND!!!!!
