How Domestic Abuse Almost Killed Carolyn Thomas

Domestic violence survivor Carolyn Thomas will be our guest. She will tell her story of being involved in a relationship that was verbally and physically abusive for over eight years. On December 5, 2003 that abuse turned deadly. High on drugs her then boygfriend Terrence Dwayne Kelly killed Carolyn's mother. Then at point-blank rage shot  Carolyn in the face. That single shot  blew away eighty percent of Carolyn's face. Her story has been featured on Oprah, Larry King LIve, and The Insider and heard by women groups across the country.
