InterInternational Gem is a New York bred rapper known for being a lyrical mastermind. Gem is originally from Greenburgh, New York, but resides in Yonkers. Even though growing up Gem was exposed to the street life, music showed to be his true confidant. When other kids were watching cartoons, he was listening to greats from Kool G Rap, Jeru the Damaja, to Wu Tang Clan. Just like Wu Tang, he was a student preparing himself to be a master in the game we call Hip Hop. Even though he wanted to be a DJ, writing was his true calling and started at the age of 14. Gem being street educated and born with the mind of a hustler helped him perfect his craft and become the lyricist that he is today.
