asha was born and raised in Louisville, KY. She moved to Hollywood, CA, at the age of ten. She has performed on Star Search along with guest spots on TV Shows: Amen, 227, and Throb (starring the late great Paul Walker). In 1989, she landed a role in the film “Troop Beverly Hills” starring Shelly Long.
