Carolyn L. Austin recognized “the call” and began writing Prayer Share as a daily devotional to support her friends. Life’s trials and tribulations led Carolyn to debut her first book, Prayers of My Mother: Volume I. In this book, Carolyn's faith and positive attitude reaffirms readers’ relationship with God as she provides encouragement and guidance through significant life-changing moments.

Carolyn is a retired law enforcement officer who now works as a a real estate broker, a certified internal auditor, and a business education instructor. She has one daughter, Caroiya and two grandsons, DeAndre and Elijah. Her daughter, Caroiya, is also a writer.
