“It started out more for horses, they shed their winter coats continually,” says Tipton. “This helps it go a lot faster. It pulls the hair off in sheets. It's better than the normal combs where you have to tap the hair out and it makes a flurry of hair everywhere. It's since evolved to a more rounded tool.”

Tipton had been working in horse dentistry for 15 years when one day the idea for the SleekEZ just came to her.

“It was something that I felt was attainable,” recalls Tipton. “Doing horse dentistry, I got to try it on different horses and fine-tune it. I just happen to know my market very well. I think that has a lot to do with my success. I am fortunate to have a product that works well. It's affordable and it's worth its value. It's inspiring for a lot of people because it's such a simple idea.”
