CoffeeTalk Jazz Radio Welcomes Mike Di Lorenzo Pianist, Composer, Producer 7/13

Special Guest: NY/NJ based keyboardist and composer Mike Di Lorenzo Has explored everything from R&B to Jazz and everything in between, performing live and recording primarily in the New York Metropolitan area. Mike has performed and recorded with a large variety of artists including Cissy and Whitney Houston touring with the grammy-award winning NJ Mass Choir, Gerald Alston of the Manhattans to many groups now in the Rock n’ Roll Fame, including Little Anthony & The Imperials, Bo Diddley, The Shirelles and many others.

He has performed at such NYC landmarks including Carnegie Hall, Radio City Music Hall, Madison Square Garden, The Apollo Theater, the Blue Note, The Copacabana and even Studio 54. “I had a classical piano background and training but I would always gravitate more towards R&B and Soul Music in my younger years which has always stayed with me. I eventually explored jazz and latin music and had the opportunity to play with a variety of great musicians in the NY Metro Area.”
