It's Holy Week! This is the time to which all of our Lenten preparations have been leading. It may feel like just another year, another Lent, another Easter, almost a cliche. In this show, we take a look at Christ's Passion in a way that refelcts what it must have really been like to be there, in the moment. We'll take a look at what the Apostles must have felt, having followed a man who ended up being tried and executed as a common criminal.
We will also be discussing the debate over homosexual marriage that has been further ignited by the Supreme Court taking up the Proposition 8 law from California. This is a complex issue, and we will spend some time unpacking all of the different aspects of this fiercely debated issue.
Our other topic for this show is a look at the Republican Party. Since Obama's reelection, Republicans have been all over the place wondering how they can "redefine" themselves, and basically being terrified of being seen as opposing the president. Where does that leave us conservatives? The GOP seems ready to cave on practically every issue, including the debate over gay marriage. If the GOP is becoming "Democrat lite," what reason is there for conservatives to remain in the GOP ranks?
