Film Chat: One on One with with Documentary Filmmaker, Andrea Walker-Williamson

Andrea Walker-Williamson is a Director and Producer working on “We are America” a descendent project that documents the families of former U.S. Presidents who owned slaves prior to the signing of the Declaration of Independence. She is the key producer and researcher for “Shutting it Down” a documentary that focuses on the longest student-led strike that the world has ever seen and led to the formation of Ethnic Studies as well as diverse enrollment in PWIs across the country.

Ms.Walker-Williamson is also the Producer and Director of “Dear Morris Brown” a documentary that documents the only historically black college to lose and regain accreditation in the nation.
