Douglas Miller is an award winning documentary filmmaker and writer/producer/director of more than 20 programs aired on the History Channel, the Discovery Channel, Showtime, and other venues, notably the series “Boneyards”, “The Color of War”, and “Modern Marvels”. He has also worked on many independent documentaries, including “Bettie Page Reveals All”, “Frank Lloyd Wright’s Sacred Spaces” and “When Stand Up Stood Out”.
Mr. Miller is also author of the recent book, “The Greatest Escape, a True American Civil War Adventure”(Lyons Press), which has just been released in paperback.
He is graduate of the SUNY Purchase Film Dept., where he studied documentary with famed filmmakers Willard Van Dyke and Richard Rogers.
An active photographer, Miller’s fine art prints have been exhibited in Paris, New York, and Los Angeles galleries.
