Award winning Luc Nicknair Cinematographer’s decades of capturing the world of visual storytelling started with opportunities with the BBC in London, CBS News in Boston assisting such luminaries as Merideth Vierra, Walter Cronkite, Bob Schieffer and Dan Rather. Heading west and diving into camera assisting grounded Luc on a variety of features such as Batman Forever, Addams Family, Executive Decision, The Nutty Professor, Nightmare on Elm Street 2 & 5, and the tv series The Wonder Years.
Other tales of the infamous: “This American Life” recorded an interview with Luc regarding his experiences on that shoot along with his experiences on filming the notorious reality show with OJ Simpson titled “Juiced”. Footage Luc shot for “Juiced” has now been used in the Academy Award winning 7 part docu series “ OJ: Made in America”.
Documentaries which give insight to the human condition has taken Luc to many places around the globe including the Netflix mini-series of international comedian “Russell Peters vs. The World”, Lucille Balls’ long lost episode docu “Lucy In London”, “Paul Soldner Playing With Fire” and “Horace Villa: House of the Imperial Assassins”. Recently the multi-award winning feature documentary “HOLY FRIT” about the world’s largest stained glass window ever built. Also The Reelz Channels “America’s Deadliest Rock Concert: The Guest List” the rock n roll tragedy of the Station Fire with 80’s band Great White. Currently running the film festival circuit is the tv pilot shot in Honduras called “Holistic Journey” and the social human condition project called “Motel Drive” which premiered at Slamdance.
