Originally from Kingston, Ontario, Country artist JAMIE STEVER now has his roots firmly planted on the northern shores of Lake Ontario in Prince Edward County. Having written with hit songwriters Brian G.White ("Watching You" by Rodney Atkins) Steve Pasch (Gretchen Wilson), Jayce Hein (Jason Aldean), Joel Shewmake (Brad Paisley, Montgomery Gentry) and Pete Sallis (Philip Philips), Jamie’s soon-to-be-released album (May 2013) entitled PRETTY GOOD START was recorded at Legends Studio in Nashville. When asked what comes first, the music or the lyrics, Jamie’s typical response is “the title.” He believes that “the craft of writing is finding a way to get your title across to the listener in a clever way that hasn’t already been explored.” His latest single No One’s Stronger Than A Mother was recently released. This song is partnered with MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Driving.) With more than 100 chapters, 7,500 volunteers and community leaders across Canada, the organization’s mission statement is to stop impaired driving and to support victims of this violent crime.
