Alberta's Ryan Langlois has been called 'the barstool balladeer: a charming and mysterious legend recalling better days, better songs, in better bars'. Formerly fronting the multiple-award-winning Boom Chucka Boys, Ryan is no stranger to the stage and he's now well into his career as a solo artist.
In 2017, Ryan received 2 nominations from the Alberta Country Music Association (now Country Music Alberta) for Male Artist & Album of the Year. After securing a sizable development award as part of Project WILD Country (Alberta), Ryan invested it all into growing his career. From creativity to a live show strategy, Ryan has built his audience and success at radio one song at a time.
More nominations came his way in 2018 and then he released his full-length album It Was A Song in 2019. The influence of Springsteen on Ryan's sound and writing can be heard in his powerful hometown anthem "This Is My Home"
In February 2021, Ryan had 2 nominations from Country Music Alberta for Roots Artist & Music Video of the Year.
