Deepertruth: Eucharistic Miracle of Les Ulmes France 1668

 On June 2 1668, Saturday of the Octave of Corpus Christi, at Les Ulmes France, the Pastor of the Church, Nicolas Nezan, began using incense before the Altar leading praise to God.  While the hymn Pange Lingua was being sung, “and having reached the stanza ‘Verbum caro Panem verum’, a unique vision of the Eucharistic  takes place during before the faithful singing.  With the Blessed Host being exposed on the Altar for public adoration, a mysterious shape of a man with light-brown hair flowing behind his head down the top part of his back, a illumination was seen surrounding his face, He had his hands crossed over the other crossing over his body, and he wore a white tunic covering His body.

This vision lasted for about a quarter of an hour as the faithful all witnessed the event.  This excited everyone to such a degree that on 13 June Father Nezan sent word to the localBishop Henry Arnauld, who sent for an inquiry.  Because of the threat of the French Revolution, the Blessed Sacrament was properly consumed by the Vicar of Puy Notre Dame who feared that Jesus would be profaned.
