When ever you talk about the Eucharist, It is important to explain that Jesus is truly present in the consecrated Host. St. Bernard said that the Eucharist, “is that Love which surpasses all love in Heaven and on earth.”
St. Thomas Aquinas agrees, “The Eucharist is the Sacrament of Love. It signifies Love, It produces love.”
The banner pictured in the background was taken from the dream of St. John Bosco. This particular warning came in 1862 when St. John Bosco was given a dream that he relayed to four hundred of his boys. Looking at the picture, you can make out a large ship steered by the Pope, the Bark of Peter. When you take a close look at the picture, the ship is hooked up to two large columns, two pillars one with a large Host with the words, “Salvation of Christians”. On the other pillar stood an image of the Virgin Mary with the words, “Help of Christians”.
