Today while at our local grocery store, I asked a young person (representing Generation Z) who works there a question I was curious to see how they would answer. Generation Z is broadly defined as the 72 million people born between 1997 and 2012, but Pew Research has recently defined Gen Z as anyone born after 1997.
I asked, "Do you think that if President Trump was still serving as the President, that we would see the high inflation rate today, that we would see the problems at our Southern Border with Mexico, and the horror that is Afghanistan?" Their answer I thought was interesting as they replied "Yes", they thought that policy had nothing to do with the situation today.
The problem I see here is that the Republican Party is not effectively communicating the importance of policy and why it is important to support politicians who defend a conservative agenda. The 2016 Republican Convention in Cleveland Ohio promoted the most pro-family, pro-faith, pro-patriotic agenda in their 162 year history. Their Conservative agenda broke many records.
