Bishop Francis Barbu of Quimper and Leon has given a negative decision October 12, 1956. also 1973 and 1975. Largely because the Bishop was not provided with accurate and objective information on the subject. The event is not formally condemned, but the Bishop forbids religious men and wemon to travel there organizing pilgrimages there at Kerizinen. The Congregation for the Doctine of the Faith on February 27, 1975 agrees with Bishop Barbu.
Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are of God; for many false prophets have gone out into the world. 1 John 4:1
Here at Deepertruth we follow and serve the Bishop. These events here can be understood as "private Revelation" but the local Bishop disapproves of independent devotion and worship and pilgrimages at this time. It is not a condemned ruling, but the negative decision tells us to warn against promoting this event. If you are traveling to France we recommend visiting Lourdes which is authorized by the Catholic Church.
