Avid animal lover and astute business woman, Debra Couwenberg, creator of WhiskerTorium Innovative Pet Memorials, still recalls the heartbreaking experience of her beloved cat, Diva, passing away in her arms. 

When the veterinarian said he'd "dispose" of her pet, she knew she could never allow something so callous. What Debra really wanted was to save her dear Diva's ashes as a remembrance, but the typical, funereal cremation urns and containers simply made her recoil. Considering the strength of her own feelings, Debra was certain that others would share her conviction that the life of a treasured pet deserves to be much more appropriately celebrated.
