Christians can be delivered and set free from the powers of demons. FREEDOM FROM DEMONS such as drugs, cigarettes, perversions, alcohol addictions, abuse, rebellion, anger, ancestral curses, cults, occult, satanism, witchcraft, sickness, depression and death.
You must stand against sin and temptation in your life after deliverance. “Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation,” (Matt. 12:45).
Jesus came to give us life and life more abundantly, such as healing, miracles and deliverance. However, in order to stay free, a person must submit to Jesus and totally sell out to Jesus and follow Him to remain free.
The Bible shows the devil at a great disadvantage concerning his power over Christians. He is shown as an inferior antagonist in light of what Jesus Christ gave to His church. Satan can only take the place that he is given. The Word of God says in (Jam. 4:7), “Submit yourselves to God, resist the devil and he will flee from you.”
The clash between Satan and Jesus Son of God in the first Gospel is an ongoing one. Satan is characterized as "the strong man" and Jesus, the Son of God, in that He casts out demons by the Holy Spirit and brings people into the sphere of God's reign as the one who "binds" Satan and "plunders his goods," (Matt. 12; 28-29 cf. also 8:39).
