Stanley Bernstein, a local attorney in San Antonio, discussed transparency in local government. Stanley explains how some local governments try to avoid being accountable to the citizens and taxpayers. In a recent example, the City of San Antonio has sued the SA Firefighters’ and Police Officers’ association but they are refusing to be deposed on the court case. They City started this fight by suing the Firefighters and Police Officers, but now the City doesn’t want to be asked or answer some questions. What are they hiding? Many municipal and county governments use the same tactics to impose their agenda while avoiding public scrutiny. Listen and learn, because the defense of freedom and liberty starts in your backyard, and you need to be informed and educated.
