The topic for this show is the debt and curriculum of local public education. A recent national report stated that only 37% of America’s public school graduates are prepared to do college level school work. Yet taxpayers pay billions of dollars to fund local public education, state education agencies, and the U.S. Department of Education. What kind of product are we getting for all our tax money?

Michael Holdman talks to us about a school bond in San Antonio’s Judson school district will create greater debt while not paying for any teachers.

Kelly Gretschel with the Responsive Government Coalition, talks to us about the concerns parents in San Antonio’s Northeast school district have with a sex education curriculum.
