Local Tyranny: Large cities are liberal/progressive centers for two big reasons. They are dominated by big government Establishments that are helped by local liberal Media. They can also afford high paid lobbyists to fight for their agenda. Ken Ward from Texas Watchdog connects the dots for us. Five months ahead of the vote, San Antonio’s daily newspaper is already indoctrinating the voter in support of the $850 million city bond. Meanwhile, local governments, including public schools, paid $16,062,496 in taxpayer dollars to lobbyists in 2015 to push their agenda (which is rarely the taxpayers’) in the Texas Legislature in Austin. He also reports on how a neighborhood campaign to stop the conversion of San Antonio parkland for Google Fiber operations is getting stonewalled at City Hall — even as one official admits taking shortcuts. Local tyranny!

Listen and learn because the defense of freedom and liberty starts in your backyard.
