Around Matthew Chapter 11 vs. 7-30 Jesus pauses as he is followed by a multitude of people and begins to reflect on the life of his cousin the Prophet John, an Urban Prophet who held court in the most unlikeliest of places...the wilderness.  he reveals what John's true purpose was his divine assignment. John's appearance and delivery style did not meet their standard of excellence.  So in verse 16 he compares them to spoiled children seeking to get their way & be entertained. A lost generation. It is a thing when Great leaders are pouring out righteousness & revelations and they are rebuked, lied on & talked about, but a selfish, greedy, immoral leader the city will tolerate. Then Jesus began to rebuke the Jewish Galileean cities where he had done most of his miracles comparing the unholy cities of Tyre & Sidon stating : " If Miracles had been done over there they would have been the 1st. to Repent.
