NATHAN BLIZZY

Nathan Blizzy, best known under his stage name Nate Blizzy, is a versatile singer-songwriter who was born in Taiwan, and currently resides in New York City.  He began studying violin at age 4, started playing guitar at age 12, and composing and  recording at age 14. By age 15, he was playing in major clubs such as the Cat’s Cradle in
Chapel Hill, NC. Nate studied classical guitar and music composition at New York University.
While there, he worked in editing and post-production at several New York recording studios
including Brass Giraffe, where he met and began composing and performing with Irish rock
band Exit.

Nate later formed other bands that performed a mix of new wave and synth-wave originals at
CT venues such as Toad’s in New Haven and The Daniel Street Club in Milford. He continues to
compose music in various styles in Wallingford, CT and perform in the surrounding NYC metro
