Join author Billy Jones for an interview with Nkosi Samuel, National President of the National Distinction Society, Inc. (D.S.). Nkosi is an accomplished leader. Born in Trinidad and Tobago, Nkosi is a scholar and leader. After graduating from Success Laventille Composite School and North Gate College in Trinidad, he arrived to the United States in 2005. Thereafter, he completed his Associate of Arts degree at Miami Dade College and earned a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Management Information Systems. During his undergraduate and graduate schools years, he successfully served as a member, Chapter Vice President, Chapter President, and National President of D.S. D.S. is the national governing authority of two distinct Greek-lettered service groups, Lambda Omicron Delta Sorority, Inc., and Mu Omicron Delta Fraternity, Inc. From community service initiatives at the Ronald McDonald House to annual awards ceremony that recognize unsung heroes in our communities, Nkosi’s leadership helps transform lives while inspiring others. Under the organization’s principles of excellence, outreach and spirit, Nkosi has transformed D.S. into a 21st century institution...and he accomplishes all of this while raising two sons.
