"My name is Stephanie and I am the Founder and CEO of Kadyn's Place. Kadyn's Place bridges the gap between the military and civilian resources that exist for victims of military sexual assault, domestic violence and human trafficking. Kadyn was my son who was taken from this world by my former husband who was active duty while I was still pregnant with him. Some of our programsinclude emergency victim extraction, rape care kits, supplying homemade childrens blankets and teddy bears for use in extractions by military police and connecting victims and advocates to resources. 
 

Kadyn's Military Kids Kamp seeks to give military children the experiences that he will never get to have. The Kamp serves the entire Active Duty, Reserve and Retired military community. This blended mix of children gives our children victims the opportunity to be "normal" kids for a week of their lives. 
 

This years Kamp will be 3-10 August  2019 in a secure location in East Los Angeles. During the day our kids will be working with trained therapists who have come up with curriculum that is fun while healing and addressing any emotional wounds they have through things such as art, music and drama. In yhe evening the kids will be learning how to launch a mission to the moon. Our space program will go all day Sunday, 4 August and every evening from 5-10pm the rest of the week.
