It’s United Nations Day and who better to discuss that venerable institution than Senator Adlai E. Stevenson III. His father’s great friend, Eleanor Roosevelt, served as a delegate the United Nations General Assembly and chaired the committee that drafted the document known as The Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Moreover, Adlai II was appointed as U.N. Ambassador by then President John F. Kennedy and served in that capacity from 1961 – 1965.

If you want to learn the making of world history from an insider’s point of view, you won’t want to miss this one!
