In the Word With Sister Pearl "Celebration of Fathers"

Hello everyone welcome to Reaching Out Radio where we are reaching out to be the hands and feet of Jesus Christ sharing the Gospel message of the cross into the nations.

This evening's broadcast intentionally celebrates fathers all around the world.  A good and loving father sets the tone in his home. He is the leader, the one who bears the greatest responsibility to raise his children in the fear and admonition of the Lord.   He is the man who sets the example for boys as how to love and treat a woman, by the way he cares for his wife and their mother. A good father lavishes love on his daughters and never seeks to harm her.  He sends a strong silent message re:what type of man she should be praying for when it is her turn to marry and start her own family. He is also the one who mirrors His heavenly Father in heaven and gives his children just a glimpse of what our Heavenly Father may be compared to. A father is extremely important in the life of his children and today we stop to honor and praise our earthly fathers, as we adore and hallow the name of our wonderful loving Heavenly Father God. 

As a father shows compassion to his children, so the Lord shows compassion to those who fear him.  Psalm 103:13
