There are about 27 million nurses worldwide, the unsung frontline heroes who care for us, who are the eyes and ears of the doctor when he or she isn't there. May 6 to 12 is National Nurses Week. Operation Scrubs, started by Pamela Jane Nye, is a permanent virtual Nurses' Wall of Gratitude at www.thankanurseteamchallenge.org.
You can leave a "Thank You" starting May 6. There is no cost to participate. With very little time or effort spent, your message will mean a great deal to those who give so much, especially during the last year and a half battling the global pandemic.
Pamela Jane Nye, RN, MS, CNS-BC, is the Owner/CEO of Operations Scrubs and Neuroscience Nursing. She was named "the Nurse of the Year" for excellence in nursing at a prominent Los Angeles medical center. As the modern-day Florence Nightingale, Pamela is an advocate for educating and honoring nurses worldwide. She is also an Associate Professor at UCLA School of Nursing.
Join Pamela Jane Nye and me on Tuesday, April 27, 10 - 11 A.M. CT US. We will be having a conversation about her remarkable life's journey and her passion for honoring and recognizing nurses for their contributions to the world with Operation Scrubs!
