Would you like to learn how to be proactive in safeguarding your children by recognizing signs and symptoms of potential sexual abuse situations? Join Yvonne Sandomir and me on Wednesday, March 6th, from 10 - 11 A.M. Central Time U.S. Our conversation is about her remarkable life journey and her latest book, What, Who, Why, Where, How, When, Plan - A Parents Guide To Preventing Child Sexual Abuse.
Born and raised in the Deep South, Yvonne overcame multiple childhood traumas. Since July 2015, when her healing journey began, she has been dedicated to spreading awareness, education, and prevention of child sexual abuse. As a certified survivor with a compelling story, she shares her story in a memoir, "The Invisible Girl," and her podcast, Survivor Strong.
Besides being a Cognitive Behavioral Life Coach and author, Yvonne has been a lifelong poet. When she is not writing or in sessions with clients, she either sings karaoke, dances around the house, paints, or spends lots of time with her husband and two daughters. Yvonne's commitment to breaking the cycle of abuse is evident in her support for charities like Lauren's Kids and her involvement with ChildHelp in California. As a former Guardian Ad Litem, she brings a unique perspective to the conversation.
What, Who, Why, Where, How, When, Plan: A parent's guide to preventing child sexual abuse provides valuable information on how to recognize the signs and symptoms of a possible sexual abuse situation and provides tools for prevention. It covers perpetrator red flags, grooming red flags, and techniques for preventing child sexual abuse. The tone is compelling, providing actionable advice that empowers parents to become proactive in protecting their children and keeping them safe from the dangers of sexual abuse.
